This is going to be an open ended question where people can just add their own answers in the comment section.

If the Doctor could come across anyone from history other than the famous people we've seen on the show, who would you like him to encounter?

Wow what a great question. First answer would be myself, for selfish reasons. Since that probably wont fly I will say JFK preferably on 11-22-63. We could see what "really" happened and maybe even change it(?). If that date is not possible then maybe around the Cuban Missile crisis. If this already happened on classic who I am sorry. I have seen very few classic who episodes.

Have read the stephen king book "11.22.63" or seen the james franco tv show of the book?

Personally id like to see a young Michael Jackson, during his first steps into solo career and him dealing with the struggles and pain of his past that combined with doctor who would be great to see... especially with the new upcoming head writer and his team

Sticking with musical artists, David Bowie would be my pick. A story in which we can see what inspired him to write "Space Oddity".

Mozart, just to see the doctor trying to be cool and trying to out-compose him only to fail

No I have not read it or seen the show. I heard the show was OK but not great. I have considered putting it on my "list" of shows to watch. Would you say I should?

Ooh nice question! As a bit of a history nerd, it's so difficult to choose . Just because he was part of my first history obsession, I'd love the Doctor running into Frederick the Great. I think there could be a fun duality there, because we have a man who's both an incredible military leader as well as an admirer of the arts and music and utterly despised the classic German militaristic approach to life. I think the Doctor would have a bit of a hard time unifying those two in his head. :P (Also he could flirt with the doctor which is always incredibly amusing). And to actually see Kleopatra at some point would be fun, she keeps getting mentioned.

If you're interested in the JFK assassination, you would love the show, 11.22.63. It's amazing.
