A very fair appraisal of "Underworld", which gets my vote as the most boring Doctor Who story of all time. The characters are all flat and lifeless, the plot is just as dull, and thanks to the budget crunch which meant all the cave sequences had to be done using CSO (the BBC's term for the blue-screen process), the camera work is forced to be so static that there's nothing interesting to look at either. Not to mention the director having to resort to padding scenes and reusing footage just to get the episodes up to length -- there's half a dozen recycled shots in Part Two alone...

You're right this would have been good if it was just three parts. This is a problem going forward... but at least you focus on the writing and not the production. Lots of popular stories still i'm excited to see you react to, but they are badly made :/
