Dean breaks my heart so much, especially the practiced smile. He was already so broken, and this was the worst time to lose one of the three people he loves most. He already lost Cas. I do love the way he goes dad mode every time he meets a kid. He is so soft. I love every version of Dean, but Dean with kids is a personal favorite. For Krissy, I know things worked out, and she helped, but I think her coming in as she did did more harm than good. Dean was handling it, but he froze after that. It is sad seeing Sam and Dean on such different pages in their grief. Though I also am glad Sam isn't ready to ride next to Dean on a kamikaze mission. Bobby had a huge network of hunters counting on him. I get not wanting to face the reality by saying "He is gone" over and over, but a sad reality of losing someone. I probably would have called Garth and been like "pass it on." Frank is always amazing. I love him. Worst advice for Dean is right though, but also not. He also reminded him to calm down and act fine, which includes some self care. At least survival level. All about what he latches onto. We will see.
