I'm not terribly claustrophobic, or am I? This episode really got to me. Being buried alive is one of my biggest fears. One of the reasons I'm insisting on cremation when I go - at least that's fast. I hope this show does well on your channel so you can keep going!

This episode, like the first one, was excellent. I’m getting a feeling from this show kind of reminding me of the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark book series, and I'm loving that. Those were some damn good books. David Hewlett was great as Masson. I did remember that in the past that you had expressed your love for Stargate Atlantis. Thus, when I saw David’s name in the credits, I knew you’d be excited. I loved Masson’s introduction where he chases away the pair of fidlam Bens, only to then turn around and reveal that he is a fidlam Ben, himself. Knowing your claustrophobia, I knew that you would be on the edge of your seat with this episode. I’m not exactly claustrophobic myself. I do, however, agree with you on fearing the feeling of being trapped and/or being unable to escape. And I definitely agree with you, and I see Jenny said so as well, that the idea of being buried alive is a fucking horrifying nightmare. Now I say that, and when I die, I'm firmly adamant about wanting to be buried, so that might seem a contradiction or perhaps a touch hypocritical on my part. On the other hand, when the time comes, I'll be dead, so it’s not as if I'm going to be aware of my surroundings. At least, not in the physical realm anyway. I also agree with you on not having much of an aversion to rats and/or other forms of rodents, (though that one rat was most certainly a rodent of an unusual size) yet like you said, the idea of being eaten alive by them, especially whilst trapped in an enclosed space is an idea that makes the skin crawl. All this to say that I sympathize and empathize with you in this episode. I share your hope that reception to this show will be favorable enough to justify you continuing to react to it. Supposing that doesn’t end up being the case, well then, if nothing else, I got to share the first episodes with you, and they were most enjoyable. Seeing these first episodes, followed by your reactions, it truly was a most lovely time on this Halloween night, and I thank you for that, Jess.

yes! I can only say that I HOPE that you get plenty of views for this show, so it's not robbed of a full reaction, like Midnight Club was..
