Ridiculous and amazing is perhaps the best way to describe this episode. This episode was a gas. I love gangster films, therefore the plot of was right up my alley. Quite amusing when Kirk really gets invested in the whole situation and starts playing up the role of the gangster. Hard to say if he was trying to sound like Edward G. Robinson, or Humphrey Bogart, or some combination of the two with perhaps some hints of Dan Duryea as well. It speaks volumes as to how nonsensical things are in the episode when even Spock, in his own dry and understated way, starts to play along with it. The highlight of this reaction was your fashion commentary. Yeah, that was a damn fine pinstripe suit that Spock was sporting, and he looked mighty sharp. The question of Spock in the suit versus Spock rocking the beanie and which looked better, one of course can debate that. I love both looks, and don’t really wish to choose, so I'll say the two looks are evenly matched. I find I would be very agreeable to the concept of Spock on a runway. The idea has merit. I most certainly enjoyed this reaction, Jess. Thank you.
