This was for sure and still is for me after 40 times a heartbreaker. I hate seeing bobby so low and having no spirit. :( BTW I love your new hair color! <3 And another awesome reaction Jess! <3

Depressing episode is putting it mildly. I’m with Dean on just because a woman’s come back from the dead, that’s no reason to be impolite and not compliment her cooking. Yeah, Bobby was coming through, working that rifle with accuracy that would make Chuck Connors blush. You’re absolutely right about how one can’t help others without first helping oneself. The situation Bobby’s been going through is one that resonates with me, very strongly. Although I’ve never gone through the grief and trauma of losing a wife like Bobby has, those scenes are so powerful that it’s very easy to put myself in his place, and feel the, I would imagine, completely oppressive pain that he feels in those scenes. The portion of your post-episode thoughts where you discuss your past dealings with the negative thoughts and feelings that you’ve dealt with was immensely relatable. I’ve gone through many times in my life of, as you called it, self-punishment, and periods of self-loathing, as well. And yes, it’s as you describe, during those periods in my life, whenever the smallest negative thought or feeling crosses my mind, the voices in my head just leap onto it and scream as loudly as they can. And any time you try to crawl out of the pit of despair, those feelings become overwhelming, and the pit deepens, to the point that it feels hopeless that you could ever feel better. I know that you say that perhaps not everyone cares to hear you discuss things of that nature, me personally, it means a lot that you are willing to be open enough to share things like that. Really, thank you, Jess.
