Yes, a lot of good intentions on this show. Which is ominous as it recalls Alan’s line in the third Jurassic Park movie, “Some of the worst things imaginable have been done with the best intentions.” So far, I’m really enjoying the dynamic between Caitlyn and Vi. I’m also sharing Caitlyn’s mild frustration with Vi and I wish that Vi would take a crack at something different than her usual approach of shoot first, shoot later, shoot some more and then when everybody's dead try to ask a question or two. As you say Jinx is dealing with and is haunted by a tremendous amount of pain since being abandoned by Vi, and in fairness she was abandoned. Unfortunately, that cop prevented Vi from rectifying her mistake. You say how you want Jinx to work through the pain and find peace, that should prove to be difficult. It’s like the line in the Clone Wars that references the code of the Dark Side, which is, “The chains... The chains are the easy part. It’s what goes on, in HERE, that’s hard.” I can relate to what it’s like. Imagine someone sawed open your head, filled it with pinballs that contain your most traumatic memories, and then just keeps shaking your head as hard as they can. That’s what it feels like. The storyline of Jayce and Viktor has proven interesting. I was very invested in the musical performance. Reminds of the type of theatrical performances that Palpatine frequents in his off hours. I’m loving that this show is instigating post-episode thoughts that have been quite verbose. Can’t wait to see more.
