You're correct in that the film has a bit more of an impact if you've seen all of the prior films of Craig's era. I also agree that the chemistry between Bond and Lea Seydoux's character is a bit more natural and yet it still feels rushed. Considering the fact that Bond did not kill Blofeld at the end, it would not surprise me if he causes or is behind whatever trouble Bond gets into in No Time To Die. In ranking the films, for me this one falls somewhere around the middle, not one of my absolute favorites yet significantly better than the weakest entries of the franchise. That said that's only my opinion and I'm glad to see that you enjoyed it.
