So it seems like you are all pretty much fond of doing a standalone movie reaction before the next movie series. So I would love to hear suggestions from all of you of what you would like me to watch.

Keep in mind a few things....obviously I won't include your suggestion in the upcoming poll if I've already seen the movie you suggested or if it's a part of a future series I will react to. It's also possible I will only pick my favorites for the poll if you guys give a lot of suggestions.

Let me know what you would like to see and good luck!

Moon, Edge of Tomorrow, Saving Private Ryan, Gattaca, Oblivion, The Revenant, Black Hawk Down, Hacksaw Ridge, IT. I also would've said The Incredibles but they ruined that chance by making another one (I'm not complaining about it though :P)

Brad

Flight Plan! A really good thriller starring Jodie Foster!

Dave Ford

Inside Man, Fish called Wanda, Taking of Pelham 123 (the orig), if you've not seen it, The Long Good Friday. I'm in a gangster/caper mood

Dave Ford

I'd go for The Prestige or Children of Men, but I bet Jess has seen them both

Opti_Frog

With these three suggested feel i don't need to suggest anything else. Your Name would be #1, Hunt for the Wilderpeople #2 and Cloud Atlas #3.

Ok, i will suggest a film. I'll go with The Wicker Man, the 1973 original. This will never get picked. XD

Hi Sesska 5 great gangster movies for you to react to if this is your kind of movie you are in the mood to watch 'The Long Good Friday' 'Goodfellas' Get Carter (Michael Caine version) 'Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels ' and Layer Cake' (Daniel Craig before he became 007)

Incident in the Ghostland is a phenomenal film that is a roller coaster of emotions. I saw this movie with two friends of mine, and we are all pretty big movie buffs, so you can imagine how shocking it was that not a single one of us could see where the story was taking us. By the end, all three of us were sitting slack jawed due to the amazing job done by every single person tied to this film.

I'd love to see a reaction to one of Terry Gilliam's "Imagination" films - Time Bandits, Brazil or The Adventures Of Baron Munchausen. They are all separate films, so you don't need to watch them together or in order, but each one is a funny, surreal delight. Munchausen in particular is one of my all-time favourites. Imagine a superhero team film set in the 17th century, written by Monty Python and directed by Wes Anderson! It's one of the most gorgeous films I've ever seen, from start to finish.

Dave Ford

You've missed one off the list :-) "There's only been three good British gangster movies ever made. I'm in one of them, Bob's in another and we were both in the third."

Dave Ford

Ooooo - a reaction to Brazil - that would be _very_ interesting

Anonymous

"The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" - "Prisoners" - "Source Code" - "Circle" - "Children of Men" - "Buried" - "Kumiko, The Treasure Hunter" (only watch Kumiko if you want to destroy your heart)

'ok Dave Ford what was the 'good/great British gangster movies ever made' that i did not put on my list

Stephen Ray

If not, it also works as a series as part of the "Three Flavours Cornetto" trilogy.

Anonymous

You may have seen some of these, but I'd recommend: 'Eddie the Eage', 'Hacksaw Ridge', 'Lion', 'Detroit', 'Dial M for Murder', 'Vertigo', 'Interstellar'.

Anonymous

Quite true. Not direct sequels, but an anthology trilogy. (Stating this in case others aren't aware)

Dave Ford

That quote was Michael Caine, talking about Get Carter, The Long Good Friday and Mona Lisa (which stared them both)

Dave Ford

Arguably one of my favourite moments from An Adventure in Space and Time - the quick bar of 'Brazil' as Sydney Newman get's lost in the bowels of the BBC TV Centre.

Anonymous

I would have not in a million years have thought about Mona Lisa thank you for that information

No Country For Old Men

Dave Hampton

With more time to think about it I have other suggestions. Contact would still be my number on choice as I said in a response to another suggestion for it. I would also recommend Fallen (1998 Denzel Washington, John Goodman, Donald Sutherland), and Instinct (1999, Anthony Hopkins, Cuba Gooding Jr., and once again Donald Sutherland). This probably wont win in any poll you make but I wanted to recommend them anyway.

Opti_Frog

Sometimes an intelligent soul horror cult musical is just the ticket.
