Sesska's Favorite TV Moment of the Week (10/1-10/7) (Patreon)

For this week’s favorite moment, we have another incredible scene from Fear. This was probably one of my favorite episodes of the show entirely. Yes, it didn’t make much sense that Alicia would be the only one who didn’t suffocate…..the girl must have lungs of steel. However, the predicament that they played out just really hit my in the guy. 

So my favorite moment is going to when Alicia really stepped up….not when she was going ham on all the walkers at the end (which was badass, don’t get me wrong). It makes me feel sick that no one other than one person who was already bit themselves wouldn’t help her. She’s a young woman who had to find the most humane way to kill people she knew and people she probably developed relationships with. There was no way she would be the same after this. 

When a show can make you feel physically ill because of a scene like this, it’s doing a very good job of showing the struggles of surviving in the apocalypse. I love episodes where they focus on one character’s growth and with Alicia, they showed how she stepped up in a time of need. Like she’s always done. 

It got to her and she will never be the same but the courage she displayed in this episode was such an amazingly heartbreaking thing to watch. I do hope she eventually finds some peace of mind.
