Sesska's Favorite TV Moment of the Week (7/30-8/5) (Patreon)

Three weeks Game of Thrones has been back and three weeks it has been my favorite moment of the week. This week was no different for just how long I have been waiting for this moment and no I’m not talking about Jon and Dany meeting. 

I’m of course talking about Cersei getting her revenge of Ellaria and the Sand Snakes. Well one Sand Snake anyway. It was honestly a toss up with the final scene as well but I’ve really been waiting for this moment so it has to take the top spot for my most enjoyable moment of the week. A Lannister always pays their debts. And you killed Cersei’s daughter. As Cersei said “we all make our choices”. 

I loved how Cersei killed Ellaria’s daughter the exact same way that Ellaria killed Myrcella. I did think it was interesting that Cersei pointed out Oberyn’s gloating in the trial by combat. It almost seemed to me that they were foreshadowing her gloating and leaving Ellaria alive. Just a random thought I had. Though I in no way think Ellaria Sand is important enough to be the one to take out Cersei. It’s more likely that we will never see her again and that is that. 

All I said at the end of the last season was: 

I know Cersei is going down. I know she is going to fall and it will be glorious to watch. But can she at least get Ellaria and the Sand Snakes first? So for that I would like to thank the writers for making my dreams come true.
