Let's figure out which Movie Series I will be reacting to next! If you are new here, some series are actual movie series and some are compiled by Patrons (the suggestions with parentheses). If a series gets 20 or more votes, it will move to the next poll. You're welcome to vote for as many as you'd like! These reactions are uploaded on the 1st of every month over the course of a few months! Good luck! (Just a reminder, whatever series wins will start January 1st as December 1st I will be on break)

If you have suggestions for the next Movie Series poll, please put them on this post. It's very difficult for me to sift through every post to see if someone left a suggestion.

If a movie is close to three or four hours, there is a strong possibility it will be reacted to over two months. Some of these series have very lengthy movies and sometimes it's near impossible to squeeze in the time to film them.

I’d suggest Ti West’s X trilogy, which just recently concluded and is marvelously unpredictable as it goes along, also providing one of the most instant star turns in recent memory for Mia Goth. To pitch it in the most terrifying way possible, there’s one particular shot in one of these movies that I can say with 100% confidence no Westeros show will ever have the guts to do.

Jordan Love

I'm a little confused. Why is the Suicide Squad stuff seperate from the DCEU movies? They're part of the same universe and the 1st Suicide Squad movie has spoilers for Batman v Superman.

Joe Crammond

I know this is a poll but I would love to see you react to the Child's Play films and tv series in the future

Thomas Corp

Trying to think of suggestions, and I can’t come up with anything, at least not anything I think will have any chance of success. The only things I can think of, I guarantee are going to crash and burn. Suppose I could try brainstorming for the inevitable sixties movies that you should have seen by now, but that’s WAY too deep of an ocean to brainstorm. So many possibilities.

sesskasays

I have a pretty good list building up for that, I'm also thinking about 00's movies as well.....but there's a lot to sift through for that lol

Ryan

I’m just relieved that Rocky Horror isn’t on this list, so I didn’t just seem to be spouting nonsense for half of Agatha All Along. My heart skipped a beat when I got to Rocky.

sesskasays

It isn't on the list for a reaction but it is possible I could do a one woman show re-enactment from memory as I've seen it so many times (though some scenes could get really awkward)

Thomas Corp

No, I knew, Jess, you’ve seen it, given the casual references you’ve made over the years. I’d be here for the one-woman reenactment, whilst at the same time calling dibs on playing Tim Curry as Frank-N-Furter. Shared thing of pretty much knowing the whole thing chapter and verse, and I still have never gone to a midnight showing.

Movie Series Suggestion: Pokémon (The First Movie - Mewtwo Strikes Back, 2000: The Power of One, 3: Spell of the Unown, Mewtwo Returns, 4Ever: Celebi - Voice of the Forest, Heroes: Latios & Latias)

Josef Schiltz

Hi Jess. I just wondered if you have seen the Karloff movie, The Boogie Man Will Get You? It's actually a comedy. Peter Lorre is also in it.

Josef Schiltz

To be honest, Thomas, i enjoyed the stage play version of Rocky Horror far more than I did the film and the different narrators were an additional treat and there was also audience interaction. Was there? Yes, there was. HE'S BEHIND YOU!"

Thomas Corp

Need to see the stage show (Or would that be the floor show?) performed live one day too. I have no doubt that it would be a hell of a fun time.

Josef Schiltz

It's actually on YouTube. I grabbed it as soon as I saw it. Wasn't going to let that pass. And, of course, with Transylvanian heritage, how could I?

The Bill Podcast

The Rocky series will make for incredible reactions, yes please. Thanks for everything you do Jess, which we all appreciate. Awesome work. Enjoy your break and I'm glad Rocco's recent results were promising.

Suggestion: Movies with Ladies from SNL (Bridesmaids, Wine Country, Sisters).

Thomas Corp

Sounds all right. Of the films, I’ve only seen Bridesmaids, which I liked well enough. Never heard of Wine Country. Looking it up, it sounds fun. Had to remind myself of your suggested theme when seeing the title Sisters for the reason of I see the title, and my brain went to the thought of it was the De Palm film. Had to say, “...Right, different film.”
