Yeah, Black Orchid is maybe the most forgettable 5th Doctor story for me. It’s nice to see them have a chance to hang out but there’s not a lot of story there.

I know this story isn't the best, but I loved it aesthetically as a kid and so it has a soft spot for me. <3 I also love that the yellow 18th century style dress that Lady Cranleigh wears makes a later appearance in Doctor who in 'Girl in Fireplace' when Reinette/Mme du Pompadour wears it at one point. (Oh, and it was also in the Annie Lennox music video 'Walking on Broken Glass' in 1992.)
