I'm always a bit amazed that Nyssa isn't UTTERLY TRAUMATIZED about the fact that the Master is basically running around in the corpse of her dead father. I know TV was different back then, but wow, so dark.

I’m curious if it isn’t something that fully occurred to the writers whilst they were penning the story. It kind of feels like one of those Icebox Scenes as Hitchcock called them, something that “hits you after you’ve gone home and start pulling cold chicken out of the icebox” as he described. But yeah, quite miraculously, Nyssa isn’t UTTERLY TRAUMATIZED by the Master essentially using her father’s dead body as a meat puppet. Quite, quite dark.
