Is today the day? After months of experimenting with rolling out a new site I threw in the towel and just threw up a bunch of stuff with off-the-rack plugins and templates. Of course the tradeoff to be able to quickly stand something up is that future maintenance will be much more difficult, and ultimately just as porous to the various scraping tools.

Let's call this a beta test. Everyone should be able to access the image at https://www.plastikevol.com/not-fair/ with your Patreon credentials. If you can't, please let me know in the comments!

If this works I don't know what I'll do with the Discord server. It wasn't able to reliably schedule images. I don't know if the plugin was buggy, or if my images were triggering content moderation filters. Ultimately though I was going to need a standalone site anyway, so I'm not going to do much investigation.

I'll have to back-populate the site with all the old content as time allows. It was still getting a fair bit of traffic even if I hadn't been keeping it up to date. I don't want to piss those people off too much.

Anyway that's a lot. The main thing now is to ensure everyone can access the site with their Patreon credentials. Hopefully this works and you won't have to watch videos for passwords going forward.

Feel free to sound off in the comments and maybe give some suggestions for a header image.
