Another mutant from Viccy's Labs was Maria. A wealthy customer commissioned the Nariok geneticist to create a "Tame, but fertile hybrid of a Snapper and a Lyran queen" via a lifestream for him, where he could watch the poor girl transform into a scaliy beast. 

After Viccy delivered her to the customer's mansion, Maria managed to break out from her prison during the first night. She quickly learned the hard way, that her new body now had developed the reproduction-cycle of a snapper tho, as she had to find a place to lay her first batch of unfertilized eggs in the woods.

After days of hiding and giving birth to eggs, she traveled along the old trade routes, but often only scared away merchants and adventurers with her growling and snarling, since her vocal chords were not able to produce words anymore.

She eventually found a tavern in the outback and managed to convince the owner, she was still a satient being, despite her rather feral apearance. 

Today she works for the Inn-keeper and even has a small shelter to live in, while she easily fulfils any tasks where a strong arm is needed. - She still plans to take revenge on Viccy and her customer one day, who violently had changed her, and took her old life from her.
