Erolems are an amphibic race that often lives in the wilds near rivers, ponds or caves.They are pretty peaceful in general and usually hide if they see travelers. Compared to otherMerran species, Erolem are rather childish, playful and simple-minded. 

Erolem prefer to live in the wilds and are only rarely seen in towns or bigger cities - they often live inside wells there, which is not allowed due to the transformative liquids their male parts can excrete. 

They are also pretty curious, and often watch from a safe distance. Because of this, Erolem often watch others take a bath in their pond or river without disrupting them. The  fact that people undress to get into the water is often misunderstood as some kind of flirting tho, since most Erolem do not fully understand the concept of wearing clothes at all.

If they grow curious enough, they get into the water and get near the bathing persons to play with them or see if the “flirting” continues. Unable to grasp their superior strength in the water, the aroused Erolem often transforms its victim by accident then.

Like the Neccu, all Erolem are basically male and female at the same time. Their male organs are hidden in their throats and only swell if they are aroused. Their seed is also hightly transformative once swallowed or injected elsewhere, but completely harmless otherwise.

Erolem usually lay eggs in huge, slimy batches that either float loosely in the lake or are attached to plants or hard surfaces. They are fertilized later through another Erolem’s male organs.
