In Tinora, one of the bigger cities of Merra, the Equinias organize racing contest once a year. These races are a very popular sport-event, especially Bolgans and Ketorans (and Skirrans, because there is lots of candy involved) love to watch! While the stallions of the equinians are usually stronger than the females, the mares have a way higher constitution and are able to run longer oftentimes without slowing down. For that purpose, most Equinian sport-stallions today are usually herms with characteristics of both genders.
