On the blackmarket of merra, shady merchants sell all kinds of Idols. These small figurines even exist of the most monstrous races of merra, to bring mischief and transformation to their new owners. Whoever touches them, turns into the creature it resambles.

LOL that reminds me of some of the Pentex toys from the old WoD game setting. They would corrupt the owner (usually a child) into a monster. So now I'm seeing this scenario where a box of these things gets donated to an orphanage and the next day the whole town is overrun by Snappers.
