Love the story but if Cal really wants to grow then why not just handicap herself by not using the war skin?

She grows faster while using it, because of just how many more monsters she can kill while using it. It would only be practical to stop using it if she 'overleveled' the dungeon to the point where the extra time spent on each monster would be worth it. Also, she hates replacing equipment. She would have to replace equipment a lot more often if she didn't use her warskin.
