The Lion King

Pridal Assembly elects the Lion Kings, following the inheritance laws. It happened only twice in the lion history, that the crown passed from the ruling family onto another.

Every mane within the kingdom gets a vote in the elevation of a Lion King to the Pridal Throne, making the Lion Kings elected monarchs.
