MHBdrawclub (see Insta (https://www.instagram.com/mhbdrawclub/) or Twitter ) had a challenge I liked to do, and this is what came of it. Gorilla in Love. Well, it worked. He's smitten 😁

If you remember the shark and the selfie-girl cartoon; it became a MHBdrawclub challenge shortly after I posted my take on it and it also became unusually popular for some reason. What she said in the cartoon was a self fulfilling prophecy as it turned out. On Instagram it drew about 22.000 likes which is a massive number, my work usually never gets near of. Maybe the inspirational photo did it, or the MHB club tag, but it went like a rocket. Who knew?
I'm pretty sure that will not happen again any time soon. It was just a freak occurrence. Probably because it got shared in a group or two with massive followers.
I did like to see it happen though. I must admit.
But it would be foolish to expect it happening again. It's not the reason why I did this one. I liked the challenge. That's all. it was time for me to paint another Kong.
