CALENDER (Patreon)

I had a birthday calender printed. I know it's a Dutch culture thing. It's a calendar that  can last forever, because there are only the number of days in a month, and space to write down the people whose birthday you would like to remember. No days of the week. It's just for remembering. 

It can be done digitally of course, but it's still a thing here. It's usually found in the bathroom or the kitchen. We had one that was at least 25 years old, bought in a store, illustrated by a famous but minimal cartoonist, and it was about time, there'd be something new there. Preferably with pinups. 

I thought I'd give this company a try and I'm not disappointed at all. Great quality. I wish I had spent more time on putting the calendar together. I did it in 30 minutes or so. It was just a test. So, here and there the hole for the ring sometimes cuts in the skull of the female figure. I forgot to put English months in the pictures and a title on the cover, which, by the way, may seem familiar to you,. And they're not aligned quite right. 

Also, I used smaller resolutions just to not have to resave it again. Doesn't matter. These are low light photos with an Iphone 7 and actual quality is much better. It's actually excellent in real life and it's mounted in our bathroom already. I would not do that if it would be crap.

I doubt there'll be much interest for it in the international community, just because it's not a thing outside our borders I believe,  but I wanted to report this anyway. I might redo it completely, having appropriate images per month; wintery images for winter, spring images and birds for spring, summer images for summer months, Halloween image in October, Weather images for fall and a Santa image in December (as the example added). That sort of thing. 

If I make more than one to sell, it'll be a very limited edition (40 max.), autographed and numbered, only for a few.
Cost  would be about 45 Euro, postage not included. Sending it to non western countries would not be possible, I'm afraid. Not only would delivery be uncertain, some of it might not even be allowed.  

I wouldn't even mention it, but I would not be surprised if this post would raise questions, and these are answers for that occasion already. I'm just reporting what I've been up to.
