There's not really a story here, unless you come up with one. Just made the main character for mere fun, and then I had some space left and the curly woman was happy to stand in. Because, there's so little opportunity to really shine and she felt like it at the time. Even when it's just in the background. More beauty should go for it. Right? 

I actually have many sketches and halfway finished single character paintings, like the redhead, in my ToDo-folder and they too rarely have a story. It's more about curves, anatomy, elegant poses, lighting and such. That's why they take ages to finish. When I'm working on these seemingly simple scenes, I get more ideas and with them often...distracted. I don't mind. These, more decorative I suppose, images serve a serious purpose that way. And sometimes I even get to finish one or two.
They make sure I never get in a slump. Even if I don't have a story yet, I can paint these pictures forever and find the stories while painting. I don't think that would work with other subjects I could have picked.
