I learned it was the late Frank Frazetta's birthday February 9th so I decided to try and paint a Frazetta girl for a change. Not exactly, but at least leaning upon that type. I can't deny being seriously influenced by the great Frazetta when I was a lad. I liked the dynamic and unusual types he painted and the spontaneous way he managed to paint in. Even though I am painting digitally most of the time I tried to get that feeling across too, always, but I think I managed to do it my very own way. I don't like to super-render anything, because it often tends to look like filtered cgi and I don't see the point. I like it rough around the edges while still keeping it attractive and appealing. If it has to look like a photograph I rather pick up a camera.
