Faunses (Patreon)

Small step from Santa with Ms Claus on his lap, to Faun with Ms Faun on his, isn't it? Well, maybe not that small a step but one did cause the other at the very least. 

I did fauns before but like I said earlier as well; I'll keep making pictures until they're absolutely perfect. Lets hope I won't get there any time soon. I love scenes like this and, even when I say so myself, I get better at them each time I give it a go again. 

An earlier Faun scene became really really popular compared to other scenes, by the way.
I don't know why, so I'll not try to achieve that again. I gave up trying to analyse the mechanisms. I do these scenes because I like the implications, the symbolism and possibilities of the beauty and the beast theme. Maybe it shows enough to get it popular?
I'm actually also working on another swamp thing painting and the sketches for other Faun related paintings are pretty defined too. 

It never stops does it?   

The spelling of the title is deliberate by the way. I have multiple faun images in my todo folder and I ran out of titles. Also, I saw BFG again and the friendly Giant talks like that...So.... 😊
