It’s a sign of the times this picture. I made it on a whim, about two weeks ago, when I saw an excellent photo of a beautiful lady I followed for some time. She follows me too and wanted to come over to pose when she first found me. (If I had a Euro for every time someone has told me that, I’d have quite the impressive stack already).  Anyway, I just used it loosely, made this from it, and sent it to her too. She was happy with it but not that much, and she said she’d have her boobs and butt done next. She wanted to have them enlarged.

I said NOOOO (as I would always unless there's been a more pressing reason) but as it turns out she is in Turkey (I’m not sure if she was there already or has since gone there, but it was truly  a "next thing") and has her nose done already too. It was in her stories.  Don’t know about the rest yet.  As an artist I'm not a fan of plastic surgery. The little things people have altered or removed are often interesting details that set them apart from others. When I look at the average beauty/model/selfie pages I think it's getting pretty generic and similar on a huge scale.

The fact is that my timing of painting this lady was completely off. Maybe I detected her intentions somehow and tried to record her true self before it was gone? (I got a deja vu moment when I wrote that. This may not have been the first time something like this happened. Can’t remember at all though. I may have blocked the memory) Or was it an attempt by the universe to convince her not to go through with her plans?

She’s not happy with herself obviously and me painting her did not do any good. That’s why I changed it into someone I don’t know. I’ll probably don’t recognize her anyway later, so maybe she’ll look like this 😁 How’s that for background stories, Patrons? 😁 I'll not post this anywhere else or public here, although I still like it a lot (liked it better when it was a portrait). It might look really off to the original model and not at all helpful with regards to her self image.  It is just one more instance that will keep me from painting random people that I'd actually like to be in my art.
