Actually originally a portrait of someone I met only online, but I changed it before posting to someone else, because whenever I've  posted spontaneous portraits in the past I always got a whole lot (and I mean a whole lot) of requests from others to paint them (for free of course) and I don't have the time for that, nor would it be spontaneous anymore. However, I did send the originals to the lady and she liked it.

I can't really say what inspires me to do this. I should probably not do it. But it's usually because I see a whole lot of different and diverse possible paintings in someone while they're not really trying to be a model. There's an elegance and creativity visible usually, but that might just be my wishful thinking or I'm just seeing things... :)

I wonder how that tail is attached.... :D
