I saw Naked Gun 331/3 the other day and Raquel Welch was as astonishing as Anna Nicole Smith, in her silver dress. So, I was inspired to do this. What can I say, I like that type a lot.
Didn't go for the exact look though. I was more interested in this "UP,ON,DOWN" triptych. My mind works in mysterious ways sometimes. Actually, doing this made the drawing come alive for me really. Not just a static portrait but a little more vivid. Getting the dress on and off should be a challenge too, but worth it for the time it's ON. Not too many would wear it as well as Raquel Welch did, back then, but there are some I'd not mind seeing in it.. .😁Any suggestions?

Oh my gosh! Raquel Welch was one of the most stunning women who ever wore a gown, or fur bikini! I love seeing her in anything (and preferably, OUT of it!). I’m an older guy, so I have a love for the classics, Sophia Loren, Barbara Eden, to name a few. I love redheads too, so how about Rhonda Fleming and Barbara Rhodes. All very statuesque!

For me, it's like THIS: The year was 1969...OCTOBER 1969 to be exact!...when "FANTASTIC VOYAGE" made it's TV Broadcast Premier on the ABC Sunday Night Movie (here in the USA). I was only 6 Years Old (only "knowing" "FANTASTIC VOYAGE" from the--very well done, mind you--Cartoon Series on ABC Saturday Morning at that same time). Watching the original movie (yeah, it was wondrous and a bit scary, even on the old Black & White Family TV back then), I was struck, at that very young age, by the great beauty of Ms. Raquel Welch--my father got nasty glares from my mother (another funny story for another time!)--just awestruck, at 6 years old. Being "Set For Life", as the saying goes. Been in LOVE with her ever since (and yes, whenever "ONE MILLION B.C." came on TV, I was right in front of the tube! LOL!!). Raquel Welch, Barbara Eden, Denise Nichols, Kumi Mizuno, Lola Falana, Pam Grier...and some chick named Cher (who was married to this hippie dude who was running for Congress, or something!)...when you see your Heroines first in your childhood, they STAY WITH YOU for LIFE. Man, Frans, THANK YOU, man, for this amazing tribute to one of our FIRST "Girlfriends". ----ok. About my father getting glared at by my mother during the showing of "FANTASTIC VOYAGE", well, after me and my 2 brothers went to bed, she was hollering at pops all night long. LOL!! (yeah--the "Raquel Welch"-effect! LOL! TRUE STORY!!)
