Long story not that short, sorry;
I posted that coloured painting in my 'stories' on instagram, after having thought about posting it for quite some time. I made it on whim. Took me about two hours or so. I thought the whole body modification cultus has gotten completely out of hand. I see 20 year olds with stuffed and puffed and pulled faces, while they were just perfect before, and it doesn't stop there, because they think they need to for some reason I can't comprehend. Surgeons and para-surgeons with fancy medifake offices do not seem to have the moral compass to decline them the possibilities.

I would not like that type of an obvious personal and somewhat angry statement in my instagram gallery (I want that to be positive in more ways than just the pinup side of it) so if I'd post it, it could only be in stories, that fade after 24 hours. In that time I only had to block one woman who thought I, as a male artist, had no business doing satire like that, as she thought it was misogynistic. Which I found odd, because in my view the professionals doing the modifying don't seem to have any regard for their subjects whatsoever.

Anyway; that's days ago and I didn't think about it anymore until the idea of the sketch popped up, completely out of the blue, with clear reference to the smut covers from yesteryear, when mad scientists were pretty popular as the villains in many weird horror stories. From where I'm sitting, it has become pretty real. So, maybe it's time to address it. But only sometimes. 😁

I agree with people that feel anyone should be free to do with their bodies what they want. Even if they want to cut off perfectly working limbs. I don't mind. I think they're having severe mental issues, but I'm no shrink. It's not a personal attack on anybody. I just think there's plenty of reason to look at it from a different perspective too. Here's one from me.

Is there plan to finish the sketch? Or it is just a concept for now? I agree fully with the fillers. Beautiful woman lose expression and become plastic versions of themselves. I don't mind tattoos if done well but definitely there are places to avoid, like the face. I understand your opinion though of not wanting to copy them. But sometimes I think they are sexy .... but they won't end up in your drawings

If there’s a sketch I plan to finish it. 😁 and I’m not saying that tattoos will not show up in my work ever. There might be instances that it would compliment a story I want to tell. When I paint bikers, yakuza or something perhaps. But it’ll never be prominent in my work, that’s absolutely certain 😁
