Boudoir Blonde (Patreon)

Why are Blondes so hard to paint? Because the hair has all kinds of shades and if you don't do that it looks off quickly. There's green and yellow and reflections of surrounding shades and colors and if you just would use yellow, light brown or white it looks cartoony fast. Which is rarely what I would be going for. It does make it more challenging. I have done many paintings that went well until I totally messed up the hair. Not a reason to not try again though. This one turned out good though, at least I think so. Her expression works too.
