Catching Stories (Patreon)

I intended this to be a post later on, but I am very happy with it, and I don’t want to wait.
I sketched it quickly to keep the idea on record, expecting it to go nowhere, but as it turned out, I had to paint it right away and it turned out how I wanted it too.

A very personal note: It’s something along the lines of art coming to life but it visualises what I intended to do for as long as I’m doing this type of art, but, by the looks of things, most likely won’t get a chance to.
I always wanted to make a thick picture book, with and about one versatile model, depicted by my photography and art alike, sometimes separate, sometimes with the two realms merging into one. An artistic and creative voyage of sexy, sensual and sometimes erotic discovery. Laced with humour and fantasy, explaining the process at times from both the artist’s and the model’s side. 

So far it has proven to be impossible to find someone suitable (beautiful, creative, willing and daring, not ridiculously far away and available for multiple shoots and sessions).
I did find models I would’ve liked to do the project with, but such a project takes a LOT of time, and everybody is busy. Life, or other obstacles, get in the way of the arts.
Also, the women I thought were completely suitable, did not always agree with me. Some just couldn’t see themselves like I did. Even a bigger obstacle because you can’t easily change self perception.

I secretly (now not so secret anymore of course) hope it can still happen. It would be seriously regrettable if it wouldn’t.
But, that hasn’t and won’t stop me in future from doing what I like doing the most.
