Drill w/ Us (ep.4) in the Gi!

Tips:

Set a 3-5 minute timer for each drill. Remember to do the drills with low to no resistance from your training partner, you can do solo drilling for these. Comment if you guys would like to see solo drilling content!

Make sure you are following the main key points! How to stay in good position when playing guard:

1. your knees close to chest

2. your head and shoulders in between your knee line (don't let your knees go past your body's center line)

3. keep your feet facing anywhere between your partner's shoulder to torso area at all times (use feet as first frame and don't let them beat your feet frames)

4. if they beat your feet frames, use your arms as frames but you need to use your arms as "long frames" which just means to fully extend your arms, as shown on the video!

Around leg passing guard retention always transition to north south for me..also most of the time partner disengage to backward which makes rotation under them is impossible
