Sorry if I'm on the quieter side this video, today was my grandpa's funeral so my first 6-7 hours of the day was a bit much for me. Loving the show though, hope you all are too!

it's always great seeing your reactions ! haha, I don't really think I was too confused while watching, so if there are any specifics that you need clarification on then just ask away ... I honestly think what doyeong meant here when he decided to "stay" with her and not leave was that he literally just wouldn't leave or divorce her right away even though he has sufficient evidence and such... he tells dongeun "so let's meet again", which most likely refers to the fact that he either wants to take a part in yeonjin's downfall or see it happen first-hand?? idk but clearly he already said that if he is on anyone's side, it is yeseol's (their daughter) so I'm assuming his intentions are to wait to make the decision, as things play out more... (I mean, he at least never told dongeun to stop anything either) Also, in my opinion, it might be more traumatizing to get a divorce for their daughter out of nowhere right now, when yeon-jin hasn't even been exposed or anything (I'm sure she's old enough to understand such things on a surface level at least)

I hope you’re doing okay anthony 💛

I interpreted that scene the same way as you ^ to me it felt like he was telling dongeun that he wanted to help her by keeping yeonjin close or he wanted to gain more info/insight into the situation before he made any big decisions

i don’t think ha do young wants to stay together with yeonjin because he “loves”her but because of his daughter. atleast for now. in the previous ep he did say he’s on yesol’s side. i also think it’s an image thing too. plus if he breaks it off with yeonjin right now our female lead has no reason to see him again because she gets what she wants

hope you are doing well anthony, we are thinking of you, hope you are ok

can you explain the whole scene with ms. kang? who told her to send a text? or did she make that up?

imani

I’ve started compiling notes as I watch your reactions to comment them all at once 😂 - the dial number going up to 3 just showed that they added another body (myeongo) to the morgue(?) - ur right abt the cop being the same guy as the leader of those dudes - I had my wisdom teeth taken out and was put to sleep but tbh I didn’t even remember falling asleep, I just remember waking up lol I had no thoughts at all - when yeonjin was frantically checking her body after the clinic scene, she was checking to make sure that they didn’t do anything strange to her body bc she felt like she was drugged (which I guess she technically was) - even after finishing part 2 I have no idea why doctor dude is so down for dongeun lmfao likeee i get what they were tryna do but idk I feel like they could’ve written that part of his character better

imani

dongeun and ms kang are trying to trick + use the husband to pressure yeonjin’s mom and make her paranoid. I don’t wanna spoil so I can’t rlly say much abt it

yeah, as they said it's part of their plan but honestly things like that get revealed/explained later on ..

I think his part was written pretty well. He was so down for her based off of the trauma he experienced. Like doing eun , he couldn't let that trauma go but would rather get even. I think he liked her from since the beginning, kind of like that instant attraction, and after learing more about her story that connection solidified. No one else would know what they went through and also be willing enough to go through the length of revenge. Dong eun always was making steps to that revenge, while he had just tried to suppress it ( in the beginning remember his therapy sessions). Dong eun brought out his inhibitions and he ultimately devoted himself to her cause and then eventually would lead to his own revenge plan. It's twisted but it's a solid definition of ride or die.

yeah like I said, I see what they were trying to do but the show just didn’t execute it well enough for me or at least to my standards for this kind of trope. I think these kind of tropes/characters can be really interesting if done well (I’ve seen similar characters in manga/anime + other media). but like him always saying “I just follow your royal command” wasn’t as cool as it was supposed to be (to me) and can come off as a cliche (even tho ik his character is supposed to have more depth like your comment expressed) but that’s just my opinion ! still love the show & the actor

I just know watching k-drama, if you are confused you just gotta keep watching. It'll make some sense toward the end. 😂

Sorry for your loss 🤍 and since you’re still reacting to videos/shows during it, I hope you’re able to find comfort in the work you’re doing.
