jennie is on the korean version of the album while sky is on regular/international ver. i guess... i dont remember if there is much difference between the albums except for that tho lol so someone correct me

I’m pretty sure he chose to have Jennie on the Korean ver, in one of his mvs and on a live stage because they’re genuinely close. There’s photos of them hanging out at dinner etc. Older yg artists like seungri talked about how she was the ace way before bp debuted too. She recorded a bunch of demos for bigbang and other artists too which is pretty cool. She even has a predebut feature on a leehi song. It’s pretty serendipitous considering how she’s blackpinks centre and face now. I know those other trainers were mad ash when she got to chill with all the other established artists loll

I think the reason was just that he wanted to perform it live and chose Jennie for the Korea the way he did park bom for japan. The Jennie version was really popular and charted super well which may be why he made it an official version.

I finally got around to checking your reaction to this, I was very busy this week. Anyways, I LOVE your reaction. This album is one of my favorites of all time, GD was really talking his ish. My top 3 from this would be Crooked (forever iconiccc), ROD and I Love It/Black. Who You is pretty awesome so I can't wait to see your reaction to it. Also, I hope someday you react to Taeyang's albums as well, he got some bangers under his sleeves
