My friend is being lame and won't drop - what do yall think of this?
It's not completely mixed, no background vocals or adlibs - but the idea is there.
My friend Jordan made the hook with the idea of "imagine a relationship that makes you feel secure and happy but they leave you for someone else and makes you feel like you're not good enough"
All of his music is hyperpop, which we (me and paul) never did before so one day we told him to make a song and yeah lol.
What do yall think? Definitely might not be for everyone, wasn't for me at first either until i got curious.
hook:
it's like i caught you in my vision, stop the bs
need security, like it's tsa
tomorrow's scary, if i knew it's gonna be this way
don't even tell me sh-t is gonna be ok
paul: (he freestyled this so i'm not too sure on the accuracy)
out here living like it's cutthroat
tell me to my face you want more
tell me my love's not enough though
why'd you have to say that?
still chasing these dreams of pushing maybach
iffy iffy, kinda want my bae back
kinda want my bae back, my baby, so crazy
in the membrane, i'm insane for you
tell the waiter he should save a table for two
i wrote a song about you and it's full of haikus
now i feel like haikyuu, stab me in the back
samurai jack, can't get you back
me:
it's like i never wanna leave ya, feeling like i'm home
always wanna see ya, or hit you on the phone
i give you what you need ya, you never had a home
before me they mistreat ya, ain't put you on ya throne
now you're acting out you're bailing out on our plans
now i'm seeing all the f-ing cracks in romance
remember we would turn the music on and slow dance
and now i'm seeing you with him yall walk and hold hands ya ya
walking out on me you wanna leave with him
the leaves are falling like you when you lean on him
this sh-t is over and we'll never meet again
love f-kd me over and i'll never try again
you played your game on me i'll never forget
broken security right on my doorstep
said she's leaving me, i'll never forget, won't forget
