not much to say in terms of the song-- japanese versions of original korean songs just never hit the same for me, which is understandable considering it's probably based on the fact i'm just used to the korean versions already by the time a japanese version is released -- but this video... this mv... i stand by the idea that if this had been their debut mv their debut would have blown up to even bigger proportions. before watching this i didn't really have any issues with the original given-taken mv, but digipedi team really blew me out of the water with this one. its so cool and what i was really expecting from a vampire concept (where the original mv had like an old-time almost antique (?) vibe, this was like, modern vampire and it was so fitting for a 4th gen boy group to me) it's been really cool to see digipedi working with hybe recently, first txt and now enhypen, hybe have been sticking with the usual same video teams for at least bts and txt up until recent, wonder if digipedi will get to direct any bts videos in the future or if hybe is sticking solely with lumpens for them.

This music video should have been the original. It's a shame because most people don't even check out Japanese releases so this mv won't get that many views rip

For me whether it's japanese/english/korean/mandarin whichever version of the song I heard first tends to stick in my mind and the other ones sound "wrong"with a few exceptions. This one was good but I agree with others the video is awesome and would have been a good debut MV. Lots of groups have original Japanese songs that I really really mess with though.

omg same, I be like uh u this aint the right one. loller me its usually depends on the groups. like Korean groups I can listen to both English and Korean versions know when it comes to Chinese groups example wayv, I get full offended when a Korean version/or English version of their song comes on I be like nope, it don't sound right it takes away they coolness. lol

Actually the only Japanese version of a song where I heard the other version first and still like the japanese better is blood sweat and tears. I don't know why but that song just slaps harder in japanese

I'm not sure if you've already listened to it, but Enhypen did have one original song on their Japanese album. It's called "Forget Me Not," and it is used as the opening OST for the anime "Re-Main." The original color-coded lyric videos were not super accurate for who sang which part, but they just did a live performance of it for their Japanese showcase. Right now there is video of the full performance on YT, but I imagine it will get taken down soon.
