I donā€™t personally think B.Iā€™s lyrics have anything to do with a romantic relationship. I think the album has to do with his journey, fans who left him, and fans who love him. I also think there are several dark lyrics in this that are really hard to listen to because he Was clearly crying for help. I am just happy he is in a much better and happier mindset now šŸ„ŗā¤ļø

Yeah I know, I kept mentioning him creating songs about his fans/journey in the past videos on the songs he's released recently but I didn't want to assume this project was entirely that since I haven't watched the film/productive process film yet. As it's seemingly obvious it's directed to his fans, I think it also could work for a relationship too though. :P It is actually kinda sad to read his lyrics cause it's evident that it was heartfelt but I hope he had people around him to share the songs with even if he didn't feel like talking since some of them clearly shows he needed a friend and some comfort and acceptance. I'm happy he's doing better too! :D

So much to unpack hereā€¦.the whole album had a water theme or the feeling of the sea (calming or storm of the sea)ā€¦my heart felt heavy listening to the albumā€¦ā€¦Thatā€™s the power of Hanbinā€™s lyricism, you can interpret and apply his words to any situation, be it a relationship or his life with iKON. However from his perspective, this album is his journey from before iKON (he was very young starting with YG), to what happened the last few years. And some of the lyrics are his feelings to his members in iKON. As for the similarities with Bobby, yeah, Gray had a similar feel for me to Raining of Bobby ft Junhoe. Double B was supposed to release an album, I believe a lot of those songs were done if not all of themā€¦. Will we ever hear those songs???? Also Bobby and Hanbin may not have the best (technical) vocals, but the emotion they invokeā€¦..danggggā€¦ finally re-birth is for me connected to Flower by iKONā€¦. Iā€™ll leave it at that. My fave is illusion too!! i think the best thing abt his lyricism is that thereā€™s so much emotion and you know heā€™s been through stuff but he keeps it vague enough so that the listeners who are going through something as well (and an entirely different situation) can still relate to. I think thatā€™s sweet of him to tell his story but still give space for you to unpack your baggage as well. Personally lyric-wise remember me hurts the most, because i interpret it as a song for his hater who used-to-be his fan from before. Like those people mean the world to him, he loves them and he had so many memories only for them to throw it all away because of what happened. the vibe is kinda ā€œI know i messed up and i might be a villain in ur eyes but please remember me because if u forget me i would not exist anymoreā€ and that hurts so much šŸ˜”

I agree about remember me it's simultaneously really painful to think about him pleading with the former fans who have turned their back on him that way but also highlights how good of a songwriter he is.

Yeah I watch PDā€™s reaction/review of this album and he said as a native Korean speaker it was one of the hardest albums to listen too because of how dark it is in the latter half. He said the album was like one huge red flag. He also said he truly hopes B.I. Is in a better and happier place now šŸ„ŗā¤ļø

My top 3 are the same as yours. When I first listened to the album I didn't have lyrics, so I was just vibing to the melodies & the beat. Once I listened again with lyrics, it made me sad to see how he was feeling during his hiatus. I really hope he's feeling better now.

The first few days of the album drop, I could not look up the lyrics because I knew what was coming. The entire project was phenomenal. I canā€™t wait to see what he comes up with next
