frost is THE standout song on this project for me, i was in disbelief when i first heard it. it’s gonna make my top songs of 2021 for sure. same as you, my other top songs are lovesong and anti-romantic. the album kinda lost me in the middle but frost totally made up for that lol

Ngl. I feel really conflicted about this album. There were some songs that completely blew me away and that I loved and others that I instantly had the urge to skip when I first heard them. That being said. 0x1=Lovesong and Frost were really cool. I liked Anti-Romantic a lot too when I first heard it but it somehow doesn’t have that replayablility that the other two have. I really like Dear Sputnik’s chorus but the prechorus kinda throws me off. Same goes for Ice Cream. Music wise the song’s great but I freaking hate the “scream for icecream” line. It’s been so overused I can’t hear it and not cringe. So. To sum it up. I think it’s so cool how TXT never fail to experiment with new sounds and styles in their songs and this definitely results in their albums always being super interesting and an absolute adventure to listen to. However there are too many songs that just didn’t quite hit this time. So 2/5 for the album from me.

I love a txt project they are so thoughtful in how each song plays into the next to tell a complete story. Anti-Romantic I think does a really good job at setting the tone of the album and setting the stage for 0X1=Lovesong. Considering that txt has been telling their coming of age story, lovesong is kind of that next step in growing up and maturing. Lovesong is also just great vibes through and through and soo well done. From the lyrics(THANK U NAMJOON!) to the general nostalgia I personally feel when listening. Very 2008 pop punk. Magic is a jarring but lovely breath a fresh air on the album especially after the weight of the first two songs. Truthfully I’m waiting for ice cream to grown on me. Something about the chants in the chorus is *chefs kiss* & their high notes. Wow. But the cliche repetitiveness of some parts makes it easily forgettable compared to the other songs. They take a cute little nod to their other songs with No Rules and What if I had been that PUMA. Like almost the direct bsides to PUMA and New Rules. Kind of like how Bts directly responded to save me with Im fine. Pop Rock and Alt. Rock are genres I grew up listening to so it made me laugh that we are getting to see txt go through their rock/eboy phase with Dear Sputnik. Heuningkai did his thing on the production it’s definitely a grower when you listen a couple times. Frost was so surprised on the first listen, like completely different from what we’ve been getting from txt thus far. You would think for a group with 5 singers and only 1 rapper they wouldn’t be able to pull it off. Imagine the stage for this though, the choreography? I’m picture madness tbh. I think the album does its job of showing their growth. Definitely recommend watching their comeback trailer and comeback show performances. 🤗

Don't know if many will agree with me but personally lovesong is seriously (one of) my favorite kpop song of ALL TIME. I drive quite a lot long distance and usually get tired of the songs I really thought I liked but lovesong is somehow the new spring day for me, I could and have had it on repeat for a whole 5 hour car ride and not get tired. I agree with your top3 though, frost and anti romantic were the only other songs that I added to my playlist but this comeback as a whole was still a ten outta ten.

This project is a 8/10 for me the only song that's really not my style is ice cream but even that isn't a bad song. I have no idea where to place this among TXTs other albums which kind of speaks to how much they experiment and do something different each time. I feel like for a group that's been around for only a couple of years looking at their discography it's kind of crazy already how many songs they have that feel like they will be classics as they go through their career. It’s hard to choose a favorite song for this for me but overall this album has top tier music!! Can’t wait for those live stages and there are also live stages for magic and no rules.

Magic Honestly I loved the whole album and I'm so depressed that we didn't get a Frost MV. I'm praying that we get a Frost MV for more korean promotions since Magic is more for US promotions. Like literally those ice promo pics??? I was expecting an mv with those vibes to go with Frost 😭 (But I'm also just saying, we haven't gotten the usual cinematic masterpiece mv that's related to the tu like we usually do 👀)

Anti-romantic, Frost, and Lovesong are my top favorites too! It’s hard to pick. I also LOVE how with each new album they have new songs that call back to their old songs. My fave this time was with how No Rules throws back to New Rules and shows their growth in the lyrics. New Rules was about them “wanting to be punks” and wanting to break rules and live exciting lives even if it got them in trouble. Now we have No Rules which is them wondering about why they “wanted to be punk” back then and reflecting on how doing all of those things exhausted them and ruined everything, creating a huge mess. I love!! In their comeback show they also do the intro to New Rules as an intro to their No Rules performance and it’s sooooo cool! Lol, on another note, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some type of Frost video since the lyrics relate A LOT to their storyline so far. I think it would be a really cool MV. 🤞

just a recommendation... if you look at lyric videos then always look for ones by zaty farhani first because they will 100% be accurate. trust me... (at least at translating)

(Sorry it’s a bit long) Anti-Romantic - 8/10. It’s not really my style but I still enjoy listening to it when it comes on. Think the bridge is a little bit empty but their vocals are beautiful on this. 0x1=LOVESONG - 10/10. I am not the biggest listener of rock based songs but holy lord this hit differently. It’s so raw, which I love. The whole chorus is amazing. Could be one of my favourite title tracks of all time. Magic - 8.5/10. I like it a lot. It’s a great song to make you happy and it also makes you want to dance in the process. Would have liked the final chorus to ride out instead of ending abruptly though. Ice Cream - 7/10. A big thing for me in songs is the chorus and this chorus didn’t hit well enough for me. I just don’t like ‘we all scream for ice cream’. Also, the chant used in the bridge and pre chorus is too long in my opinion. It has great verses so that’s what brings it to a 7. What if I had been that PUMA - 9.5/10. I am a sucker for auto tune so this is up my street. From the rap parts that jab in before the pre chorus to the chorus that makes you want to clap along, I think it is a well rounded song. Oh and Yeonjun’s verse with bass? Don’t start me, I’m obsessed g. No Rules - 9/10. A great song to dance to. It’s just so fun to me and Yeonjun’s verses really compliment the song, same with the refrain. I think the choreography makes me like the song even more though. Dear Sputnik - 9/10. This song screams ‘this is us’ to me. I think the post chorus pushes that thought even further for me. I just feel like I could stand in front of everyone who’s doubted me and flip them off when I listen to it. Also, the electric guitar and adlibs were an amazing plus towards the end. Frost - 10/10. Pre Chorus, Pre Chorus, Pre Chorus, Pre Chorus. It’s on a loop. And the bass with the verses... jeez, too good. Then on top of this the rasp in the chorus. Just death. It doesn’t take away from the song but I think the second verse could have benefited if it came in harder. The whole album - 9.5/10. There’s only one song in this album which I wouldn’t return to often enough but besides that it blends in together and flows really well for me. It also showcases their out of this world range in genres. MVP: Taehyun. They fed him something different cause Terry was going crazy. Shoutout to them giving more rap verses to Yeonjun tho.
