now ant you know here in the U.S they not gone give us no fancy ass graduation like that, especially here in miami haha. for mine u just get dressed meet at the graduation spot, walk the stage to get your diploma and thats it . lol. and yeah standing up is normal, they did it in treasure box plenty of times.

Somi is so cute! I loved watching this series. When it was first announced that she was signing with the black label, so many people gave her crap for it but they treat her like a princess there. Oh she hinted that she’s working on an album a few days ago!

In Asia, you must stand up when a older person or someone with more power than you comes in, they did the same on YG treasure box, the trainees would stand up every time the producers came in and everyone even the producers stood up when YHS came in.

So the only reason they literally had a photoshoot and interviews at the graduation is because this is Hanlim Arts High School. Hanlim is known for being one of the few schools where idols and trainees attend. You didnt notice but she was standing next to ITZY members Ryujin and Chaeryeong in one clip. Im pretty sure regular korean high schools dont have photoshoots and interviews lol

I think it's just because Somi went to Hanlim Multi arts school, which is like a pretty known school for idols to go to. Like in that clip with Somi talking to 2 girls it was Ryujin and Chaeyong from Itzy, etc. I'ts definitely not normal 😂🤦‍♀️

ahh yeah i don’t know itzy’s names 😅 i see, i was under the assumption the trainees could go to whatever school they wanted to but it makes sense that they go to where more people in their career paths go.

Well, I don't know about a photo zone, but for graduation, we rent a big truck with stereo and decorate it with banners, then drive around to the houses of each student of the class, where the parents have prepared something to eat/drink at every stop. We have to rent the trucks one year in advance bc it's expensive, but every class does it and it's a long-standing tradition here. There's also a bunch of rules and games concerning our graduation caps, but's it's too many to list lol. Oh also, if you get an A on your final exam, you have to run after the truck until the first stop
