yo! i scrolled past the album teaser for bobby (didn't watch it yet, i think i will next stream tbh) - how likely do you guys think it is for b.i. to be on the project? if he's going to be kicking things back into gear musically in 2021, is there anything restricting him from interacting/creating with his boys in ikon? or vice versa. 

you guy's know more about what happened and stuff back then but i could've sworn he was just under all that fire for just attempting to buy right? and he was negative and whatnot and still faced these consequences?

Yah he was innocent even though he did buy them but he never actually take them that’s why I’m confused it’s like yg set him up to cover up the red sun and his own scandal. Cause what is the point of doing the monthly drugs test if you’re gonna kick them out in the end when you know they’re negative. Also about bi going back to music he’s on this new project with epik high so I think he’s definitely gonna start coming back very very soon.

Hmm not entirely sure what’s going to happen and if b.I will be able to make music with the rest of ikon. I honestly hope that he at least makes music for them but with the new yg management I don’t see it happening. The new management likes to please the public unlike the older one where they didn’t care much. He only thought about it but never actually did anything. It sucks how things turned out but I’m hoping for the best in the future. Bobby’s album comes out on love scenarios 3rd anniversary.

honestly your guess is as good as mine :/ it's hard to tell, but I'm going to lean with unlikely because bobby is still associated with ikon and YG needs to accept it (btw hanbin's contract was terminated). Especially since it's not a mixtape but a properly released album Even tho he's completely innocent, korea is very strict with image..and image isn't recovered easily However! What surprised us all was that YG still allowed ikon's last album to be released after hanbin left, for which he produced much of it. It seemed like an exception But you will see all of us PRAYING he somehow features him! It will blow up the entire internet if he did!

There is nothing stopping him legally or contractually from participating with the boys. YG would just have to approve it is all. He got in trouble but yes, he simply bought it or attempted to buy it but never used. K-netizens are halfway supportive. You get the YG haters of course. However, he has done a lot of charity work so some see him in a positive light. All in all, I say it's a 50/50 shot he is featuring. It would make more sense to me for him to produce first and get his feet wet with some b-tracks on some folks before trying to come back full time to prevent the whole backlash of not reflecting long enough.

yeah that’s why i made the post, i figured this was to kickstart him back up and plus it’s with epik high. aren’t they still under yg? if they are then i was hoping that could still leave the door open for future collaboration. i’m not familiar with their drug testing and stuff but i just was confused with the whole not using part but still being under this much heat and such.

Epik high signed with another company in 2019 so no they are not in yg anymore

i don’t have much to compare the last album situation to but it would be so much work to delay an album and get it reproduced and songs remade 😭 so i was feeling that was more of because he was under the label at the time and the label owns your music (it’s like that in western labels and stuff so i wonder if it’s similar) i see though, mixtapes don’t have to be approved? it would be cool!

okay your first part helps then, i was mainly concerned on the legality i guess after being removed from a company/label, but even then, the approval is pretty wack too with how kpop is as a whole image to the public type of thing.. fingers crossed though, that would be cool.

oh god you’re not about to make me cry now are ya? as sad as it is I don’t think we will be seeing any interactions between hanbin and the boys, at least not publicly. Their friendship is something beyond this contract so I’m sure they’re still good friends. However, knowing how selfless Hanbin is i know he will try to keep his distance from his members bc he will be afraid that it might put them under kmedia’s radar. Regardless of what the future hold for them I wish they’re happy and continue doing the thing they’re passionate about, that alone is enough for me.

ohh that's a good question. i've heard how sometimes companies try to keep members from interacting with any past member(s) whenever they leave the group. but if im not mistaken i think hanbin wrote dive for them after the whole situation, so maybe he will just be a writer and not do any actual features....but man would it be an amazing miracle if we got an ikon ft B.I song. i just cant wait for hanbin to come back 👏

did you know before the whole June 12 2019 stuff, they were saying they had a unit album on the way (BobB.I sub-unit) plus way back then Hanbin’s posted some screenshots of his song folders and there was one folder that’s under their names so we know for sure that they have some songs but don’t know the possibility of it being released now. As for YG, they were the ones who terminated the contract with Hanbin and it seems like they love to pretend that he never existed (plus the fact that they set him up back during the iDECIDE era)

I don't want to say that B.I is 💯 innocent, I love B.I but like any artist u become a victim of it. In one of the chats B.I said "I AM ASKING YOU SINCE I'VE TAKEN SOME WITH YOU" I think he was referring to weed here, but yes he hasn't taken any LSD. One of the main reasons YG sent iKON out to Japan and China during 2016-2017 was bcoz of this probably going out. Not all iKONICS know this or understand this to be exact. It was such a hard time for iKON. Even before debut Korean Citizens have sent letters to their government banning YG or the debut of iKON due to the embezzlement scandal of B.I's dad. All I pray Anthony is that they release the DOUBLE B tracks/album that we were supposed to get in 2019. B.I and Bobby deserve it. I want to listen to it in replay, you know how they go hard. ♥️ Thanks Anthony for this...

okay so I dont think that there’s anything legally stopping him from making music with the boys but kpop in general is very shady so im pretty sure he wont feature in the album. YG also didnt credit him for composing and writing 4/5 on their last album which honestly made me wanna punch him in the throat, how are you not going to credit the person who always puts the most work in and is behind your biggest hits like???!$?? ALSOO Bobby and BI were supposed to release a joint album in 2019 which we sadly never got but im pretty sure it it completed. The boys contract ends soon so im hoping they pull a got7 and dont resign with ygs bitch ass

also the whole situation with the drugs is so much more complicated and shady than what people are making out to be. The test he took was negative and he didnt even buy the lsd but he was still kicked out 3hrs after the news was released. (he tried to buy the drugs in 2016 btw). I honestly think it was all just to cover up for seungri also lots of artists under yg had scandals wit drugs but hanbin was the only one kicked out

There is so much misinformation concerning the B.I Case...but I don’t think he’ll be on the Bobby album. He was not even featured on his love and fall album!! I do think Mino will be on the album. EpikHigh is not signed with any label, they are independent like DPR, Tablo said this in the interview with LeeHi when she went to him for advice which label to sign with...and with his usual dry humor he said not with him since he has difficulty managing his two group members. 🤣 As for iKON, I hope they produce more music together, DK started writing music for them (it was always B.I) and I hope they will rise again just like WINNER did when their Maknae at the time left. Still funny to learn that WINNER’s leader is also the Maknae of the group🤣. I just wish happiness and success for the iKON boys. I hope they promote Bobby’s album much better than the poor job they did with his last one..25 th of January can’t come fast enough...6 days before my Bday 🎊Sweetttt pre-Bday 🎁😉

i don’t think they were sent to japan and china because of that but because they were well received there. They were bringing so much money from those countries. They were the fastest kpop group to hold a concert in Nippon Budokan as well as being part of the survival show they participated in China. They had 2 shows a day in a lot of cities in Japan as well during their Japan tour.

Im like 100% sure he won't be on Bobby's album unless a true miracle happens. But im pretty sure YG ent. isn't gonna approve it knowing them. But there is a chance that B.I's songs that he created when he was under YG could be used but if that happens they probably won't even credit him tbh. I've been a iKONIC for a long time and at this point i have no faith in YG ent. when it comes to iKON. I would hope for him to be on Bobby's album cause they were suppose to release an album together but I think we can just dream at this point. Though you should check out Epik High's album its so so so good! All the song features especially title track Rosario ft CL & Zico, Acceptance Speech ft. B.I and End of the World ft, GSoul. Highly recommend!!

I think the possibility remains as so much time has passed. They still used his songs for iDECIDE and announced it. While they didn’t credit him they still would have had to pay him for those songs. I think they’re still wanting to leave a door open. Remember Dara featured on Park Bom’s song Spring. I think there’s more likely to be a MOBB mini album upcoming especially if Mino features on Bobby’s album. I am hoping for solos from June and Jay too.

I think it's a long shot that he'll be included on the album tbh. YG may know internally that it was a mistake to jump the gun and let him go but "saving face"is a big thing for these companies so they'd probably never admit it by giving permission for him to be included. Also I don't really have a sense of how the Korean public feels about it but I know they can be pretty brutal about these kinds of things and want artists to reflect for a long time before they even show their face in public. That being said him working with epik high is a good sign. I think he'll ease back into the entertainment industry slowly over the next little while and see what the response is like.

i doubt this album, but if he is, it wouldn't be obvious. Likely it would be a backing vocal and only fans would be able to tell. Bobby, B.I and Jay were the closest in iKON since they trained together for the longest, especially Bobby and B.I., who worked together the most. However, B.I. wasn't even on Bobby's first album so idk if he'd be on the second one. If he is, it'll probably be a song talking about the past or something emotional and B.I. would just be subtly there. I just don't get my hopes up for this though. YG was always horrible to B.I. since day one and dropped him like THAT. Notice how iKON only ever got good promotions and publicity when Love Scenario blew up (aka when YG got bank). I think B.I. wouldn't associate too much with iKON to save their reputation because he cares about his friends, but hopefully they leave YG and they can work together again.

i think when iKON leave YG, hanbin and bobby will release that album hopefully...it may just be in a mixtape form though.
