Man the idiots in that house is just insane. But At least that ass finally got handled thanx to cool guy..... now that I think he may be the witch? But I still feel like it could be the new “leader” I really don’t now I’m confusion. But hey, I rather be shot and then thrown in the fire pit than to be burned to death alive tho 🤷‍♀️ but the plan to just kill everyone was still dumb . I liked the backstories for the characters tho wasn’t expecting it

honestly i thought the flashbacks would add to the story but it really took away from it for me. idk i liked the idea of not knowing who people were outside of the world they're in, seeing it through arisu's eyes, he doesn't know anything about these people or whether to trust them, and imo it added more mystery. also the backstories just seemed kinda cheesy lol. bullied kid turned bully etc kinda cliché. chishiya's water gun-flamethrower was fun tho

What Kuina meant was that she hated her past as well, just like him, but the difference is that she would use the martial arts skills she learned in order to survive despite reminding her of those dark times of dealing with dysphoria and being rejected by her own dad. Basically tells him she's much stronger mentally than him. She also has something to fight for (leaving the 'country') so she's more determined while he's content with his life now and easier to beat. It goes over his head though. He's like huh? Exactly because he's so complacent. There's zero fear in him and fear actually helps in such situations. The adrenaline makes you more focused and your instincts get sharper.

Also, I usually empathize with people who make mistakes because they went through traumatic experiences like bullying but Niragi got nothing from me. Nothing can excuse what he did! I don't know what they tried to prove with the flashback but I couldn't care less. Sure, the old him, I feel sorry for, but him now - totally different person. The old Niragi is dead at this point.

i liked the flashbacks, but i don’t think i like where they were placed. that close to the end i liked not knowing their backgrounds as well, especially since does it really matter? all you have here really are your morals and your survival instincts
