To me, Mr. Lee was just repeating 'We're unlucky' as a way to reassure himself and Jisoo that they're not bad people. Just people who did bad things because they were dealt a bad hand in life kind of thing...

I guess she didn't want to look at it in public cause carrying around money like that can be dangerous if anyone sees it. But she def. should have looked at it in the car or at least in the school. But I guess she underestimated them or was just too naive.

Yeah, I think she just underestimated them. Gyuri is really smart and confident and she knows it but she actually has no real-world experience, something that until everything goes to shit she hadn't realized. She thought she was in control but in reality, she's still just a kid that knows nothing about anything really...

I do agree with Jisoo that all of this is happening because of Gyuri’s curiosity though. Had she not stolen his phone and then proceeded to open his suitcase, he would have not lost his money in the first place. BUT let’s see how they get passed this

literally her curiosity from the beginning drove the plot - i hope she didn't screw him for life and herself just from snatching that phone and doing the blackmail stuff in the beginning - then they're both out there like booboo the fools
