I actually don’t feel like it was too rushed, maybe because I felt he was kinda getting used to her liking him (the birthday gifts, his birthday as the password, her saying “I like you” over and over) I mean, four years passed so he would obviously develop at least some feelings for her ( also, he and the other girl were growing apart, they didn’t see each other much so that also played in him falling for someone he sees almost everyday) and for the last part, OH MAN I ALMOST THREW MY PHONE AWAY THE FIRST TIME!

ok but I am with you so hard on the reactions I really did not expect that. am anticipating what you'll have to say next episode because I'm seriously about to cry.. you would think the mob boss saeroyi "befriended" in prison would come through but nevertheless this drama is always unexpected

in the part where saeroyi is telling yiseo to stop and saying "why do i have to feel sorry for you? why do you have to make me feel uneasy?" followed by yiseo saying "oh youre finally starting to have feelings for me/see me as a woman" the reason why she says this is because the fact that saeroyi pretty much admitted that yiseo flirting with him makes him "uneasy" shows that he's being affected by her...i know that sounds weird and negative but yk in these types of shows, sometimes when characters like someone they also have these seemingly negative emotions like nervousness or the impulse to push them away etc. also the fact that saeroyi admits to feeling sorry for her after rejecting her is also a win for yiseo lmao. idk i didnt really find this surprising or strange,, maybe because im so used to watching romance stuff?

edit: i do agree w you on that ending tho lmao i feel like the drama suddenly took a weird last minute sharp turn?? like when those guys took yiseo and saeroyi getting hit...it made me go "ah right this is a kdrama..." it just suddenly gets so dramatic? i think this has to be my biggest complaint about the drama and the ending

maybe there is a familiarity i've yet to gather here lol, i think i look at it too logically sometimes but i'm just trying to make it click in my head - it does sound weird. i'll have to watch a few more of them to try to adjust my thinking patterns but it's hard because i don't want to fall bored to cliche's lol.

i'm late but i find it so interesting how saeroyi wants to destroy jangga because of his father but geunsoo is like "i'll destroy you so i can get the girl that doesn't want me rawr!!" also your face at the end was exactly how i was feeling when i first watched it... like the random dramatic kdrama plot suddenly got activated

This is what I was talking about when I said the writing is kinda whack. They literally built the show off him being a principles guy that sticks to his word and doesn't change once he has a goal. Emphasised how much determined he was to take down Janga for his dad and soo ah as revenge. He was doing what yi seo is doing except for confessing his love every 2 seconds which woulda been just as weird and uncomfortable as it is when yi seo does it. He literally had no space in his head for settling with soo ah because all he could think about was revenge for his dad but all of a sudden he cant get yi seo out of his head? lmao. sorry for the long rant but even the plot twist here with the mob is more understandeable than how his character has changed so quickly

ok here’s the thing i have a love/hate thing with yiseo. ok i don’t necessarily love her but she makes some very great points (SOMETIMES) i definitely prefer her over sooah tho so i guess in a way i kinda root for her? idk she’s very problematic &amp; the stuff she says sometimes just makes me go 😬 BUT i feel out of the two unfortunate options yiseo is the better choice for saeroyi 😔 everything yiseo said in that last table scene with sooah was perfect (LOVE THAT Scene btw) telling saeroyi she wants a rich guy was cute/funny the first time cause i took it as a motivation for saeroyi while he was in jail but then he got out &amp; she kept saying it &amp; saying it. Never once confessed to him or anything really. Just said oh Saeroyi likes me &amp; that he’ll never change &amp; all that but she ain’t do nothing. Couldn’t even support him when the investments pulled out like you couldn’t have lied about the plant?? BUT NOW after 10+ yrs she wants him?? idk i felt bad but i was like u had all this time... (But Also can we discuss that scene with Saeroyi/Sooah &amp; when she said “Tell me you like me” &amp; he just stayed mute cause that scene made me wanna light myself on fire lmaoooo) they made yiseo a bit more like able (for me) in the time jump but then she started with the “i love you” and all that fire me if it bothers you. i get that he can’t tell her how to feel but the “fire me” logic is flimsy to me. Again I get it for kdramaland sake but if i apply ACTUAL LOGIC to dis it makes zero sense. Also if the roles were reversed it would’ve been a bigger issue &amp; not taken as romantic scene(s). The writers also made her say that in like every scene she had with Saeroyi and i was just like gurl 😴 Although I do think Saeroyi falling for her makes sense?? in a way. He’s all about revenge &amp; defeating Jangga &amp; she’s been there for him since the beginning. Unlike Sooah she’s actively helped and is actually vital to the team so I can see how that would make him develop feelings for her from spending all that time but the way the writers went about it &amp; wrote it makes it seem off. they made yiseo confess in like ep 10 &amp; he flat out said no. then a time jump happens &amp; saeroyi realizes he likes her in the 2nd to last ep??? ik saeroyi kinda slow with these things but bro.. you would think the writers would’ve spaced &amp; written things out better considering they have 16 eps sorry if this may seem all over the place. i tend to just jumble all my thoughts together and well rant

Hey Anthony! I have yet to finish watching your reaction to episode 14 but I was thinking since you are nearing the end of this drama, I highly highly suggest watching Extracurricular. It's a netfix kdrama original and omg it's so darn good. The main actor is the actor for Geunsoo in Itaewon class. Oh please please please react to Extracurricular, I would so love to watch you watch it like Itaewon class!!

i literally just was in a conversation about extracurricular! i'm aiming to finish this series and then finish w, i will be finishing itaewon by wednesday (scheduling the videos) and then finishing w since there are like 5/6 episodes left of that - once those are done i'll be glad to go on and start extracurricular. i want to wrap up everything i was watching and kinda do one thing at a time
