Breadboarding Synth Voice From Start To Finish Part 1 (Patreon)
Content
This is 2 VCO's, a Noise and a Mixer breadboarded. The next video will be modifying the second VCO to also be an LFO to modulate things, and also sort out the tracking for the oscillators to play in tune.
im planning to finish the synth car dash board this month, it fell of the list as i got rid of the green mini that this dashboard was for, the orange mini didnt have the right dials for it, but mr plastic has now become synth mini. its better as mr plastic has a smaller quieter engine with a heavier flywheel, so much easier to cruise in time. the new plan is to directly wire to the coil via an opto coupler to generate the clock from the engine.
first in order to make this im building the analog synth on breadboard first to make sure its all good. and then put it to stripboard, it felt like a good opportunity to document the process from start to finish, with an aim of publishing a 3 or so hour video of breadboarding the synth voice from start to finish.
it will take a bit longer than doing it normally as will need to edit the vids and pop em on here, so ill be sharing the various chunks of breadboard parts on here before making the final vid!
