New features on Patreon (Patreon)

A new paiement method is now activated, it's called "charge up front". For existing patrons not much changes, you get charged at the first of the month as usual. Changes of the pledge amount will be effectuated instantly. New patrons will be charged immediately after pledging.

Charge up front prevents people to pledge, download everything and cancel their pledge before they get charged. The activation of this feature was necessary because last month every 3th new patron I got was a fraud. It was not fair for the real patrons that pay regular and not really motivating for me.

Also a new feature called "early access", that allows me to make a patron only post public after a chosen number of days, found their way in this months Patreon update. You'll see on the bottom of a post if it's cone be public after approximately a month.
