Vibe Check: Chef's Kiss (Patreon)

Alright, so to be honest I think I've fallen into a classic Sunk Cost Fallacy when it comes to Chef's Kiss and it took Chapter 30's only comment being entirely negative for me to really realize it. Considering you guys on my Patreon are literally paying to read my work, you should be my biggest fans. So if a story is getting that bad of a reception, then I need to open my eyes.

Put simply, Chef's Kiss is my least popular Story Poll at this point by a mile. Either the concept just doesn't have an audience... or more likely I simply drove it into the ground.

Because it's not just the story's lack of popularity overall, but also my difficulty with writing it. Out of all of my long-form stories, Chef's Kiss has given me the most trouble, with chapters sometimes taking me five times as long to get out as anything else I write. The story just never really clicked for me I think. That probably contributed in turn to it not really clicking for the majority of you guys.

That all said, I think Chef's Kiss probably needs to come to an end and something else needs to take it's place. What I'm not sure is whether that something else should also be a Shirou-centric story or not. Maybe Shirou in another setting? The one idea I did have was a Shirou in Danmachi fic, but maybe that won't speak to many people.
