Title is basically the gist of it.

The idea was fielded over in the pubic thread of this story on QQ yesterday of the Clone Army being entirely female. I hadn't really thought about it before, because it seemed impossible to make work. But there IS something fun about the idea.

That said, I'm struggling to come up with a reasonable way to go about it. There are two options, but each has their difficulties.

1. We genderbend Jango Fett. Jango becomes Janga Fett, and thus the entire Clone Army is female just like she is. Problem with this is that I don't know of any Fem!Jango Fett artwork and I know that for some readers, genderbending can be very hard to wrap one's head around without the proper artwork. The closest thing to a female Jango Fett that I can find is Omega and well... she's not exactly lewd worthy in my eyes. (Though I suppose if I did genderbend Jango, I would go ahead and make Janga Fett blonde)

2. We use another template for the clones. Problem with this one is, I have no clue who that template could be. Star Wars was something of a boy's club all in all, and while I know they added some more female characters in the tv shows after, I haven't really watched much of Clone Wars or Rebels. The ones that come to mind, like Bo-Katan Kryze for instance, feel way too young. Timeline just doesn't match up does it?

So this is both a poll and an open discussion. Let me know in the comments down below both how you feel about the idea, and if you have any suggestions for potential female templates to replace Jango Fett.

Collar Spider

Yeah that's a tough bit, personally I don't think we need to genderbend them since like cmon that's way too many identical women to fuck ok. Like twins are fine, I'm gonna enjoy if we get to fuck those jedi twins with the floating hair but not a whole army, even if we only do like Commander Codi (i is intended). So yeah, my worries also instead to a clone army of someone other than Jango, too many of the same faces makes it less appealing.

Cambrian

Tbf it's not like I'll have Tylo chew through the entire female clone army. It just allows for sexual experiences with genderbend named clones like, as you mentioned Commander Codi.

Patrick

it honestly depends on if it improves the story for me.

You admitted that a good portion of us just hit the horny button in every poll, and you give us this. Rook Kast is a possibility for a template.

Keeper

Could make it that Jango died before he ever completed the mission that made Dooku select him as the template. So instead Dooku went with the best bounty hunters, assassins and warriors he could find(which the Jedi Order actually did in the show when it came to teaching the clones in live fire exercises). Instead of making it a "one man army" its instead a grand army with multiple specialities. "The right woman for the job" in each different case. Like Zam Wesell, Aurra Sing, Fennec Shand, Sugi etc. Maybe Bo-Katan, Ursa Wren and Rook Kast were part of the selection process but left for Mandalore after getting their paycheck?

Draconic Hermit

In-universe Commander Shepard is an option. You've done something like that in Professor Potter with the Lodge being apart of that setting

Anonymous

You could use Vhonte Tervho.

Cambrian

You're not wrong lol. Tho tbh that was more born out of a desire to spice things up and write something new in the HP setting after the past 4+ years of writing so much Harry Potter for commission work. I don't feel quite as much need to spice up Star Wars with such characters when there's already so much material to explore as is

Question: Is it not possible for there to be an Option 3: The Kaminoans intentionally genetically altered Jango's template to be female to better express certain traits they wanted in their soldiers? Studies do show that women are: - Better multitaskers - Are on average better learners - Have a higher average IQ - A better memory - Are better at navigating any given area by using landmarks - Have a much more finely tuned ability to see slight variations in color than men do - Have a superior sense of hearing - Can distinguish between different scents far better than men can - Are more hygienic - Tolerate pain better than men - Female brains also secrete more oxytocin—AKA the “cuddle hormone”—than male brains, making women calmer under fire than men are - There is even a study that shows women evolve towards certain traits (in the studies case beauty) and proliferate them faster than men. These could all be traits that are extremely desirable in a mass production clone soldier.

Cambrian

This is also a possibility. Might make another poll after this with a few options since it definitely seems like genderbending the Clone Army is winning by a landslide.

I don't care if there are any scenes with clones but the idea of thousands of clones having thirsty thoughts and simply freaking the protag out is hilarious to me.

That black guy

replacement template my choice is Bo-Katan Kryze

Cambrian

The timeline just doesn't work for this I don't think. Wasn't she literally a child when Jango Fett was picked to be the template?

Mac-G

You could write in a experimental unit like the clones commandos and ARC troopers that used a Female Mandalorian DNA. Or the Kaminoean tried to slow the degradation of Jangos template after his death by creating a female batch.

Caerival

I had a similar idea as this but my idea was more towards a cloning error that ended up with a certain percentage being female and the Republic not wanting to waste a potential resource, chose not to have them scrapped in the tanks.

Fenrir44

I am always up for a big harem but even that is to much pus plus i dont like idea of changing the clones we all know and love there is such a thing as too much horny

GentlemanMad

I did find this pic of R63 Boba Fett. http://sw.reactor.cc/post/2776887. Considering Boba is a clone of Jango I think it should be fine to use as a template for the rest of the clones.

GentlemanMad

Also I think it would be better to keep to original clones than involve the gender swapped versions of the ones we know. Adds some distance that could help make a gender flip easier to swallow.

BlueFanfictionInc

Either a female mandolorian, maybe Bo satine's sister, or stupid idea, assaj ventress?

Anonymous

Could be like with omega. Having an altered template from the original for variance. Assassin types or even scout types

Rivias Wolf

The idea of all the potential bad ends and horrible fates for the clones really turns me off the idea. All I can think about for a female army is the fate of Kuroinu and it just disturbs me. With slavery and even yourself showing the fate of beautiful women in the Star Wars with the Twileik mother and stuff.

Ben

I think having more than one template would be a good solution. Purists would lose ground to complain because the OG clones would be available, but you’d still have the option for genderbending if the mood took you.

KnightofMor

Why not split the difference by having both male and female clones? Jango has a wife and she provided the other half of the template?

Drakeulous

You know Jango fett had an older sister named Arla fett. Maybe Jango was captured (thought dead) and arla became a bounty hunter to "avenge" him in this timeline. Or maybe she rescued him and they became a brother & sister bounty hunter team (then they both became templates for the clone army). So you can have both male and female clones.

Scrap333

Yay! My idea spawned a vote! To note, I was generally just voicing a random thought. Much like you've put it, the actual effort and story effect of having a female clone army is not easy to come by.

Cambrian

Tbf, the Separatist Armies are 99% droids, so there probably wouldn't be too many Bad Ends and Horrible Fates as a result of war

Readm

I don't see a reason to genderbend the clone army it's not like he's gonna have sex with the whole army. Also I just feel like it would be a hard sell I know the Republic in this story is different but I think that convincing the universe to support a female clone army would be harder than a male clone army.

Belly

This^^ unless you want to go back to the first few chapters and change it where females are usually the stronger of the roles or etc... You could always have it where you made a super duper secret black ops of all females that were meant to do everything and anything(seduce, espionage, etc..) but it was scrapped half way when your OC stumbled upon it before they were implemented or almost finished and they all kind of imprinted on him because they were going to be sold as bodyguards, maids, slaves in one package to high political/rich people but they added a chip/conditioning of the first person they see is their master. (Like after the training they have to wear some weird eye shield to prevent that before they get to there destination etc...

Payton Richmond

You could replace jango fett with a descendant of the female mandalorian in the swtor trailer. I think her name was shae vizla. Honestly I can’t think of another female mando other than Sabine and satine and her sister.

Cambrian

The small issue with this is that the Vizla Clan are a big part of the modern day era as well, and very much integral to the Clone Wars lore already, and there are unfortunately no female members among them that I'm aware of. So it'd kind of be back to genderbending male figures if I went that route. Atm, if I do replace Jango, I think I'd prefer to do so with already established female characters like those mentioned already such as Bo-Katan, Rook Kast, and Vhonte Tervho.

Jean-Luc Charitat

Like has been stated, maybe just have a percentage of the clones produced have a genetic predisposition towards being female (doesn't have to be more than 1 or 2 percent). This side steps the need to either figure out a genderbent Jango or a viable alternative template. The Bad Batch are an example of clones who had defects on creation that were cultivated as an experiment, and Omega is proof that female clones could exist. So in that case it'd be a win/win.

jw

I agree this, is the best way to eat and keep the cake, you get what you want with minimal changes to the actual backround story.

Starwalker29

What is APGFFA, is it a story or just a concept right now? Having trouble navigating QQ to find this thread you speak of.

Cambrian

Sorry its the shorthand for A Perverted Galaxy Far Far Away, my Star Wars Patreon story lol

Jahlani Williams

Have you read the Clone commando series and/or play the game?
