So as we hit Chapter 75 of The Successor, I find myself considering the future of the story and not being completely excited about it. A lot has happened in The Successor, but at the same time, it feels like we're just getting started. And that might not be a good thing.

I have this personal philosophy as both a reader and a writer that 90% of stories that go over 100 chapters were never meant to do so. With this story, we've reached Chapter 75 but with no real end in sight. I could write The Successor for another seventy-five chapters and still not be done with it.

I'm not so unhappy that I'm ready to shut things down unilaterally or anything, but I am at the point where I wanted to check in with you guys, my most faithful supporters, and see what you all think. Is The Successor worth continuing, or is it time to sunset it and replace it with something else?

I voted to continue for at least to reach a good pause point where you could pick it back up later if you want since you feel you can keep going for another 75. As some have mentioned An Iron Resolve looks to have a very good balance of story and sex, which could lead to fewer sex chapters but said chapters could be longer to balance it out.

I would hope if it does get sunset another similar Izuku harem replaces it, your writing style and the mha world match really well I think

Don't think that there is anything wrong with having a story go over or below a particular length so long as it's going somewhere. Think it's fine to continue with the story since it feels like you've put in all the ground work for it and can build to something or drop it if feel that it's got nowhere to go. A middle ground of miscellaneous stories set in the successor verse in the time after current point could also be a direction to take it. Here cos you write good so you do you :).

Well, looks like it's going one way. I do hope you'll do another My Hero story, the girls are awesome and Deku can be a fun character to write for either as a lucky nerd or as a villian. Maybe you could do a series where he's just starting out as a pro hero. Give yourself more options for what stories to do and not feel stuck to the original canon story line.
