Description

A mod that shows the tracking status of the VR system, allowing you to see if the HMD, controllers, and trackers are working properly and if any improvements are needed.

From left to right, it shows the serial number of the tracking device, the tracking success rate during the last song played, and the total tracking success rate since the start of Beat Saber.

The devices are sorted from the top to the bottom: HMDs, controllers, and other tracking devices (e.g. VIVE trackers), and the devices in the same category are sorted in the order of their positions when they were recognized.

Devices that have been detected as moving will have a * to the left of their serial number, so you can see which device corresponds to which serial number. Lost tracking is indicated in yellow, and lost tracking for more than 1 second is indicated in red.

The success rate is calculated by the number of successful tracking frames divided by the total number of frames. Pressing [CLEAR SCORES] in the settings screen returns the normal rate to its initial state.

As a rough guide, it is desirable to have more than 99.9 (total tracking success rate) for the left and right controllers and more than 99.5 for the tracker. The following section describes how to make a good environment.

The tracking success rate during the last song played is an indication of whether tracking lost did not occur during the previous play. This information will be useful for video recording.

Ideal Environment

Controllers and trackers

- Keep fully charged

- Wear the tracker in a position where it will not be blocked by your arm or clothing

- Tundra Trackers have a small surface that can be easily blocked, which is a disadvantage

- The connection with the receiver may be unstable immediately after it is established

- Some bad units may not perform well despite all efforts

Receivers

- Receivers should be at least 15cm apart from each other

- Tundra receivers are disadvantageous because they cannot be separated between antennas

- Keep an open space between the receiver and the tracking device

- Do not use a USB 3.0 hub

- Use a hub with a power adapter

Base Station

- Place four SteamVR Base Stations 2.0 to eliminate blind spots

- Cover the walls around the Base Stations with black cloth to eliminate reflections from the walls

- Keep the room free of reflective objects such as metal, glass, mirrored surfaces, etc. or cover them with cloth

Wireless

- Eliminate wireless devices emitting 2.4 GHz from the room/house: 802.11b/g, wireless mouse, wireless keyboard, wireless headphones. However, if they are not in communication, they will not have much of an influence.

- Move away from neighboring homes that emit 2.4 GHz... you may have to move to no man's land...
